I’m not sure how one would make matcha without a bamboo whisk. hmmmmm. I know there are suppliers online that you can get them from in Canada and the U.S.

Kuromitsu syrup is basically molasses watered down with a bit of sugar water (though I’m not sure if “watered down” is the way to describe a mix of molasses and sugar water!).

I’d love some different ways to make matcha tea. I don’t have a bamboo whisk. So far I’ve just used my aerolatte. Thanks. Also, any suggestions on where to purchase Kuromitsu syrup in U.S.?

Some of your descriptions sound like they came straight out of Iron Chef. “When mixed with the kuromitsu sauce the sweet/bitter/cream taste seems to breathe like the wind through spring leaves.” Didn’t the Chairman say that

And you forgot to mention that 7-11 is open 24/7 here, and that from our apartment, if you run, you can get there and back—with parfait and special spoon in hand—in less than five minutes.
